Individual Grand Final
The results from the Agility 1, 2 and 3, and the Jumping 1, 2 and 3 will count for a place in the Individual Grand Final. For 3 rd grade, the top X placed combinations (= handler &dog) per round will be invited to take part in the Individual Grand Final. For 2 nd grade, the winners of each round will be invited to take part in the Individual Grand Final. The winner of the previous BCC will be automatically invited to take part in the Individual Grand Final. This means that the maximum number of participants at this final will be 6 times X + 6 + 1. In the event that one or more combinations qualify at two or more courses, the open spaces will not be filled. The Individual Grand Final will be an Agility course. The title "BCC2023 Champion "will be awarded to the winner of the Individual Grand Final.
NB: “X ”will be determined after the number of entries are clear and will be communicated in due time. X can be different for Large and Intermediate class.
National Team Final
National teams will compete in the National Team Final. Each national team consists of the three best 3 rd Grade combinations and the best 2 nd Grade combination from that country. The combinations qualifying for the Team Final are determined by the combined results of all courses run on Friday and Saturday, per Grade. If there are countries with less than three participants in 3 rd Grade (separate for Large and Intermediate), the organisation will combine countries into ad hoc country teams.
It is not allowed to replace the qualified combinations in a country team, f.i. in case of injury. In such case, the country team will run with less than four combinations.
The National Team Final will be an Agility course. To determine the winning country in this Final, only the results of the three best combinations of a national team will count.
Additional rules
The FCI rules and regulations are applicable to this show.
BCC will offer three heights: Large, Intermediate and Medium. According to FCI rules, Intermediate is open for dogs which are between 43 and 48cm at the withers. Large is 48cm and above, Medium is smaller than 43cm. This has to be proven by an annotation in their record books. If there is no height mentioned in their record book, the dog has to enter in Large.
NB: For countries that have a different cut-off than the official FCI height classes, the exact number of centimeters has to be stated in the record book.
The official BCC-title will be awarded in Large and Intermediate class. For dogs entering in Medium class there will be a prize for best Medium based on the combined results of the six courses. There will be separate Country Team Finals and Individual Grand Finals for Large and Intermediate, so in total four finals.
